James joined Matco in September of 2022.With over 10 years of experience servicing individual and institutional clients, his breadth of experience includes both investment and wealth management. He is the lead Portfolio Manager for the Matco Global Equity Fund and a member of the Global Equity working group. He holds a position on the Matco Investment Committee and is a contributing member of the Asset Mix Committee.

James began his career with ATB Financial, working with individual and institutional clients. Then, he worked as a broker in the North American oil market, helping clients trade physical oil and manage financial hedging programs before joining Matco.

In his free time, James enjoys cycling, golfing, and travelling. He has also volunteered within the community and most recently served as Treasurer for a local non-profit for 5 years.
